Who I am and what I do.
I am a researcher at the intersection of data science, science studies, labor economics, and regional economics. At the University of Kassel (INCHER) and the Institute for Employment Research (IAB), I use quantitative methods ranging from regression analysis to machine learning and text mining to study how science and labor markets work and evolve. A key part of my work is the development and integration of new data sources to better understand these dynamics. I am committed to making research matter – through policy advice and the practical application of findings.
